Art Submissions • Submission Procedure

These are our preferred mathods for receiving art. While we can sometimes use art that does not fit these guidelines, there is a good chance that extra graphics charges will be incurred.

Fortmats:

• Adobe Illustrator CS2 or earlier (our preferred format).
• Quark XPress 6.5 or earlier.
• Photoshop CS2 or earlier.
• InDesign CS2 or earlier.

Any other formats will most likely incur graphics charges. While we can work with PC files, we have a Mac-based workflow, and PC files can sometimes cause problems that will incur graphics charges as well.

Important Information: Make sure the file is CMYK or PMS colors; please no RGB. If there are placed images, please include the original image files.

Please make sure all file names include the extension. For example: .eps, .ai, .psd, .tiff.

Please include all fonts (include printer and screen fonts) or make sure fonts are outlined. Note: if you think youÕll be needing us to make text changes, we cannot work with outlined fonts.

Provide rasterized images at 300dpi or higher. While we can work with lower resolution files, quality will suffer.

Please provide at least 1/16" bleed for art files. This means if there is any art or background color that reaches the end of the label, please make sure it extends 1/16" past the edge of the label. This is for proper cutting purposes.

Proofs:
A PDF and/or faxed proof will be provided. This is for reference of content, layout, fonts, and rough color.

For color accurate proofs on CMYK jobs, an Epson or press proof will need to be ordered. Contact your sales rep for details and pricing.
